Educating people is the greatest responsibility and the most important chance a person can ever get. The talent of a good teacher or trainer is to see, understand and grow learner’s potential. “Teaching is hard work because it’s heart work”. You share everything you have – knowledge, inspiration and kindness. That’s exactly what I feel being a teacher. The best compliment for me is my students’ results: good grades, university admissions, tests passed and their comfort while doing business, studying or travelling abroad.

Language is part of culture, therefore studying the culture is integral to learning its language. I approach both hands-on and I teach my students to do the same. To me, teaching is every bit as challenging as it is rewarding, and there is no better reward than seeing my students develop a love of their own for the language and culture that are so dear to me, and then succeed because of it.

Sofia Lichman

Education: Oles Honchar Dnipro National University. Japanese language and literature department
I started learning English at the age of seven and realized I wanted to make it my future job at the age of sixteen. Knowing grammar rules almost perfectly and not being able to apply them in real life, especially when it came to speaking, I tried different schools, private tutors, and many approaches to find what was good for me! And finally after five years of intense practice I felt confident enough to start teaching English! Since then I've had more than two hundred students in groups and individual lessons. Looking at how different people, their needs and abilities can be made me learn to be more flexible and creative in the methods I use at my lessons! So here I am a member of Savvy Team, trying to be helpful every day, saving the world with the power of knowledge!

Experience: 20112016 ECC event manager.
What is it really like to be an event planner? Why am I doing this?
My answer is pretty simple.
More or less most of us want to be happy or/and satisfied, and my job it to make them feel these emotions. I always want to see the smiles on the faces, that is a real inspiration for me to set new goals and to conquer new peaks. I always want to make the next event better than the previous one. I cannot express my feelings when everybody says “thank you” for the organising of a wonderful and successful event!
I do what I wanna to do cause I only want to make people happy!
