On April 20, 2019 Savvy team ran anniversary 10th 3PM was organized in the format of Unconference. This time the event was devoted to the topic of meetings and the improvement of their quality: how to make meeting great, interesting and useful for the team.
During the Unconference participants tried to check out different approaches on how to make meetings more effective to achieve what they want and not waste their time. Illia Riabtsev senior manager of product development at Oracle gave an interesting speech as meetings, catch-ups, calls make up most of his work. He shared his experience of communicating with different types of employees and how to deliver the main ideas to them. Illya supported the idea, considered feedback, participated in discussions and contributed to the case-studies and event planning.
All the participants were welcome to share their cases or issue they faced related to organizing, moderating or participating in business meetings.
To sum up:
– Peer-to-peer events seem to me like a future of events.
– The community accepts the format and asks for more
– Meeting management was a practical and precise theme.
Savvy Team will be waiting for the next 3 PM. An event where we share our education and work-related problems, where we are just as willing to discuss these problems as to find the solutions curiously together!
“You may say that I am a dreamer, but I am not the only one. I hope one day you will join us.”
You may find more pics of the event here. Enjoy and we hope to see you at our next 3PM Uncon.
Stay tuned with Savvy!
